Chapter 2: Crazy

Risk and Zoe have a daughter Cameron. Risk doesn't realize the infant he cuddles is an evil genius.

The paparazzi have been stalking Zoe ever since she sold those vegetables to minor celebrity Coral Goldbeard. At first she thought they might be after her husband, who had gained some modicum of fame in the neighborhood from his work, but, no, even after he's gone off to a renovation site, the paparazzi lurk in the bushes, taking notes and photos while she gardens or checks the mail. Zoe can't imagine what paper or magazine wants to publish articles about her daily life.

As Cameron grows, so does the McDermott house. First they added a small addition for a nursery, then Risk decided he needed a car to get him to his clients faster (and in better style) than the subway, so he added a garage with a second story office/studio. He also put in a basement beneath the garage. They don't have much need of extra storage space now, but someday Cameron won't need her crib or toddler toys any longer, and the basement will be ready to hold them for future generations.

Cameron grows quickly into a child. Now she's not just an evil genius, but an insane evil genius. Her favorite color is pink.

"Please, you have to help me! I need some kind of cage or soundproof cell for these triplets!"
Risk is making a lot of money here in Barnacle Bay, where there seems to be no end of need for his services. He's even been awarded trophies and medals for his work.

Cameron becomes a teen. Her father adds a second story to the house, making room on the first floor for a larger kitchen and dining area.

"Hey, Cameron," Lionel Radan greets her while she's hanging out on the swing set at Barnacle Beach.

Cameron launches into her teen mating ritual, making a face any boy would find irresistible.
Lionel responds positively to her advance.

"You know, the Yeti are actually aliens who genetically engineered Sim life on this planet. The government has known about them for decades, it's all huge cover up," Lionel informs her. Cameron agrees enthusiastically, her research has lead her to the same conclusion.

When he tells her his favorite color is pink, Cameron knows it's true love forever.

Challenge Notes:
The roll for Generation 2 is Couple with 3 kids, Law Enforcement (forensics) as primary career, Artist as secondary career. The generation goal is hoarder, and the misc fun is again random traits. Cameron rolled Evil and Genius as an infant, rolled Insane as a child and got Heavy Sleeper as a teen. I also made the optional roll to determine which of her children would be the heir of gen. 3. Her 2nd child wins that honor.
There are very few teens in my neighborhood at this time, so Cameron had slim pickings to find her future mate. Happily, Lionel Radan is Neurotic, so they can discuss conspiracy theories with each other. He's also Childish, Clumsy and Loves the Outdoors. So while he isn't predisposed towards being an artist (the career he will be forced into if he marries Cameron) he at least hasn't anything against it.
Oh, and Celebrity. I hate it! I've recently added Hysterical Paroxysm's mod to making gaining celebrity harder. Because without it, Zoe literally got two stars just from delivering vegetables to a one star celebrity. Risk is also gaining celebrity, as many of his clients have one or two stars of fame. He makes instant friends when he meets people (from Charisma skill bonuses) so his fame grows as he makes famous friends. He's up to 3 stars now and I'm constantly turning down assignments from his 'agent' to dance at at a nightclub for 3 hours, etc.
Before I forget, Generation 1 goal of fulfilling LTWs has been achieved. Risk maxed painting and photography, and Zoe maxed gardening, fishing and handiness.

  2. Thanks, Nickey.
In my last legacy I ended up with a ton of stuff and nowhere to put it, so this time I thought ahead and made a garage/studio/basement to take care of all that, lol.
